Utopia was a famed island republic and acclaimed as a "perfect society" ruled by its earliest known regent, King Utopos.

History[]

Until its pitiful decline during the later 16th and early 17th Centuries, Utopia was known throughout the world as the ideal state that mankind might socially aspire to. During the early 16th Century, Utopia was ruled by the giant Gargantua, and the birthplace of his son, Pantagruel. Wars in the later 1500s destabilized Utopia that the former perfect country was turned into a dismal ruin, which it was rendered uninhabited and potential visitors deterred by an oppressive air of melancholy that surrounds Utopia's creeper-conquered rubble.

Utopia's giant survivors, descendants of Pantagruel, migrated to Brobdingnag where they waged war against the Brobdingnagians during the 18th century.

Shortly after the end of World War I, Hugo Danner visited the ruins of Utopia in an attempt to build his "true Utopia" of supermen. However, in 1919, Clark Savage Sr. hired Hugo Hercules to put an end to Danner's plans by killing him in an epic battle so that there would be no competition for his bronzed son.
