The City of Dreadful Night is a very depressing and melancholic city located in Eastern Europe. The city is surrounded by mountains that sunlight does not fall and thus it is always under pitch darkness. The River of Suicides winds round the city. Above the town's main palace is the statue of the city's patron goddess Melencolla.
