Alexander III of Macedon (20/21 July 356 – 10/11 June 323 BC), commonly known as Alexander the Great, was a Greeki king of Macedon. He is the most celebrated member of the Argead Dynasty and the creator of one of the largest empires in ancient history.
History
In 334 BCE Alexander, refer to as Alex, was a friend of Orlando when he was a young stable-hand. Orlando described Alexander as "ambitious, somewhat mad." During his conquest, Alexander was assisted by Orlando.
In 329 BCE, Alexander and Orlando saw to the problems of sea monsters that has been plaguing at Alexandria, Egypt. At the recommendation of Orlando, Alexander and Orlando built a bathysphere which they might observe and sketch the likenesses of the various types of sea monsters, and thereby create larger than life iron replicas to scare the real sea monsters away from the shore.
After Alexander subsequently died in 323 BCE, Orlando had spent the next two centuries reading at the Library of Alexandria.
