Alan Moore (born 18 November 1953) is an English writer and co-creator of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen series with artist Kevin O'Neill.

Widely known for his dark, adult and often heavily intertextual comic books like Watchmen, V for Vendetta, From Hell and Lost Girls, Moore has gained a reputation as the greatest writer in the medium's history.
