Aglaura, located some miles west of Rio de Janeiro and north of Happiland, is a city that seems to be made of two cities somehow occupying the same space; one is drab and characterless, yet at times from its washed-out streets it's possible to glimpse a different city, rich with meaning, the import of which was sadly inexpressible.

Source materialEdit

Aglaura is from Italo Calvino's Le città invisibili (The Invisible Cities, 1972).
